How to Setup MFA

MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication - also referred to as 2-Factor Auth) is the gold standard for protecting your account. 

At Walford, all Parents are required to setup MFA on their accounts in order to protect their details and the entire school from potential security issues.

When logging in for the first time using your Walford account, you will be prompted for More information required

While Microsoft will prompt you to install their App, this is not required. For ease of use, Walford recommends you select Use a different method.

Select Phone from the drop down list.

Change the country code to your location and enter your phone number. Note that the phone number should include the leading zero and no spaces. 

Enter the 6-digit number that has been sent to your phone.

Your phone number is now verified and any future codes will be sent to this number. 

Success! Clicking Done will return you the Walford resource you were trying to access.
